MVP to host popular Banter podcast talk

Banter is an event dedicated to telling stories, recording public interviews, conversations and discussions. In their own words: We tell stories about this, that and the other. Banter, which originated in Dublins recently departed Twisted Pepper venue, has dealt with some pretty big names in the media world, including Sunday Business Post editor Ian Kehoe, the Irish Timess Una Mullally and Irish Independent deputy farming editor Darragh McCullough. The events, which take place all over the country, have been produced and hosted by famous writers such as Irish Times Arts journalist Sinead Gleeson and Marian Keyes. The BodyTonic show is coming to popular Dublin hotspot MVP this Thursday with its Whats the story with podcasts? talk. The event which will be produced and hosted by Irish Times writer Jim Carroll and Eoin Cregan,will feature Ken Early (Second Captains), Lisa Farrelly (Abbey Talks), Andrew Mangan (Castaway Media) and Roisin Ingle (Irish Times) as Banter speakers. The talk will look at how podcasts are now attracting a lot more attention from listeners keen to find something new to hear as well as where the future of podcasting lies. The Banter session on podcasts will take place atMVP(Clanbrassil St., Dublin) on Thursday September 24.Doors open at 6pm, the Bantering starts at 6.30pm and there will be an audience Q&A afterwards.
